Aggressive Gars??....

My two 10-12" Florida Gars have recently started a killing spree in my tank,they first took out my 9" needle nose gar,then my 7 " "Rocket Gar",also my 9" Irredesant skark and a 8"Tyre Track Eel.I never knew Gars were so aggressive is this normal??They are well fed.

Yes thats normal. If it can fit down their throat they will eat it. Expecially with those needlefish, they are like bait to gars, and an 8" eel is like a worm

In my personal tank Ive had some expensive plecos come up missing because of my gars...

Perfectly common and normal. They will hit anything silvery regardless of size and spit it out if the swallow poses a challenge. DO NOT put a silvery/ shiney fish in with your Gars unless it is 100% intended for feed!

On a side not I had a longnose eat a florida gar that was roughly 2/3 its body length!
