Has anyone ever heard of an aggressive Mbu? I thought they were peaceful, but my Mbu has recently decided to kill my fire eel it shared a section of the 90 gallon with, and had been trying to get at the jaguar pair (who were trying to get at him too) on the other side of a divider, even trying to bite them through the divider, and even the divider itself a few times (the pair has their own tank for now.)

They tend to be more peaceful than fahaka but definetly can have a mean streak. Often recommended kept alone.

He IS a puffer & you can never tell with a puffer.

I have two Mbu puffers and their dispositions are completely opposite. One is completely peaceful and resides in a community tank while the other is a fin nipper and can be aggressive. Every fish I've tried keeping with him he chases so he's by himself. :)Mike

Any pics :D?

Sure!
First pic is Doug. He's in a 180 by himself for right now.
Second pic is Leroy. He's in a 480 with some Fronts and a large black Aro.
Both Mbu are aprox. 12".
