Aggressive opaline gouramis!

Is it me, or do gold opaline gourami tend to be pretty aggressive? Once I had one that killed and started to eat my brother's African dwarf Clawedfrog. I also had one that would chase away my goldfish, and the goldfish was a bit bigger than the gourami. That goldfish is much larger now, ofcourse
Males also don't tend to like eachother. Sometimes they get along perfectly, though. So is it just me?

Probably just your fish. I wouldnt say that they are aggressive, just males tend to lightly chase fish at times.

Depends on size of tank, tankmates and surface area. Gourami in a small tank with surface dwelling tank mates will probably get more aggressive. Multiple mature males in a small tank will do the same.
