are there any aggressive piranha with teeth that could fit in in a 50 gallon tank if not are there any that can live in a 75 gallon tank. it has to be a true piranha that cost no more than 50 dollors full grown and what would they eat. and how many could I get.:FIREdevilit has to be aggressive!!!!!!!

From the info you just provided, I would say Serrasalmus Maculatus, Gold Piranha. You could put (1) in your 50g. They can get pretty nasty, and even sometimes follow you around when close to the aquarium. They will eat live food, but based on my own personal experience with piranhas, feeding them live food constantly is only asking for problems. I used to give mine a varied diet of non-oil based food fish like tilapia & bass as well as frozen whole krill, carnivore pellets, & market shrimp, with live feeders only being a small portion of their diet; about once or twice a month. I only ever used guppies because there is controversy surrounding the growth inhibiting qualities of goldfish amongst other cyprinids; such as minnows, aside from that it is a proven fact that feeders are not as nutritious for the fish as a pellet based diet is. Lastly if $50 is all you are willing to spend, then you might have to start off with a smaller juvenile specimen and grow it out, the adult specimens usually sell for more.

Agreed my solo Maculatus is pure nasty aggression.

if you are looking for a "TRUE" piranha then only the Pygocentrus family applies which includes Nattereri, Cariba and Piraya.
with only $50 budget, piraya is most likely out of the question unless you find someone selling privately and really really want to get rid of it at such price but eventually you will need to upgrade to a larger tank.
can still get cariba now within your budget but if you can't find one locally then you'll have to factor in shipping cost and they can get pretty big as well. or just go with some reds, like 3 or 4 babies and grow them out.
as for aggressive goes, you'll most likely be disappointed because piranhas are not how they appear to be in Hollywood movies and are often skittish or non-interactive at first, you need to invest time to bring them out of their shell and get use to you and aggression wise vary from fish to fish.
if you want something that attacks everything you put in the tank then go look for something else, maybe a breeding pair of convicts or other cichlids.

Rhom would do good in that 75 for awhile But your budget wouldn't be able to afford a fully grown one
