So I have a pair of aro's and one seems to be aggressive to the other there both about 10" give or take a inch, in a 140g 6ft tank, the one will always swim near the other and bit his tail or side and over the last day he has taken quite a beating top fin is all beat up as well as his sides and tail.... So I sectioned him off and added salt... Is there anything else I can do to reduce aggression or ? They were raised together since tiny too ? Any help would be great

If this behavior is new, then most likely it is cause as they grow the tank becomes more cramped. Though your dimensions may seem fine for a couple of 10" fish, the aggressor is territorial and only a larger tank may help the matter.

In my experience two aro's very rarely works.

Agree with larger tank. But once the underdog, allways the underdog. Add one more, like sized or bigger to the mix.
