Aggressive tat

My tat is starting to get really aggressive. He is 6-7" in a 40g with a 5-6" ageneiosus catfish, a 4" midnight catfish, a 3" spotted raphael and a 5" nandus.

He used to chase the nandus around sometimes, but it never seemed to be too bad. Now he is getting really aggressive and started chasing my other fish around and is trying to bite them. He has been chasing my midnight catfish and ageneiosus catfish around and has actually been trying to bite down on them, rather than trying to nip at them or simply chase them.

Has this happened to anybody else before? Does anyone think another tat or scomb would lessen the aggression?

A larger tank would greatly help. The thing about Tats and Armatus is that their temperament can change at any time. I'd just put him in a larger tank.

Interesting behavior.When I was keeping tats and started with one, they would be vey shy untill I got more of them for company.

He will be going in a 6x2 165 gallon aquarium hopefully before mid January.

The weird thing is, he was outgoing at first, then got shy and is still somewhat shy but tries to wreak havoc when nobody is looking (kind of like a catfish).
