like the title says.
I have a small (3 Inch) texas cichlid in a 55 with a few african cihlids that are larger then him. but in the last day or 2 his colour has grown to be Whiter and Bolder and he is attacking my other fish.
I have a 125 gallon but the fish in their would most likley eat him.
Any Idea why he would turn so aggressive in such a short ammount of time?

Maybe it's not a He but a She and she laid some eggs...
not at that small of a size,
SA's do not belong with africans. period.
and that texas basically needs his own tank ;)

Texans are aggressive fish . . . if he/she is turning "whiter", maybe it's getting into breeding colors . . .

Sounds like he's happy with his new home. Are you keeping the water hard or normal hardness? Just wondering. I figure texas cichlids are pretty happy in hard water anyway.

Texas cichlids are very aggressive CA cichlids. They need at least 4' to themselves, and females that are laying eggs are going to be even worse.
