IN A PLACE
I have a 140g tank going. 5'x1.5'x2.5'. Current inhabitants are: 9-10" zebrina pike, 9" tigrinus catfish, 10" red florida gar, 16" polyuarndron gymnothorax eel, and a 10" disc bd ray.

The ray and pike get along great, but the pike beat up a blind thai silk flowerhorn so I removed that and added the tig, gar, and eel today. The pike is chasing and mouthing on the tig and gar at times. There are caves, and hiding spots, in addition to floating faux plants. I have blue led running 24/7, tank gets filtered daylight.

Do I let them work it out? Should I move the pike to my 1100g? My first concern is that I have only had the fish for 2 weeks and it isn't truly quarantined. I also worry that it might get beat up by my large 14" jutai pike. I don't have another tank for it to go it asap.

Please help my come to a rational decision. Thanks

I'd keep an eye on it and as long as there is no damage to the others let them work it out. Maybe change some of the tank decor around to break up the established territory
