Give me some ideas for either of the two choices in the title for a 94 gal tank.
Already had to talk her out of a Dovii

Any suggestions??

Lol, just get a bigger tank if she wants a dovii. That's pretty rare to have a spouse who actually wants the big mean fish, lol, as opposed to the "nice, cute, pretty little community fish".

I have that same size tank with a single Vieja Synspillum. He's too fr&&kin mean to have with any other fish. He has killed a flowerhorn his same size an oscar bigger than him and has beat up a black belt his same size. He is great by himself though and very colorful. i can pm you pix if you want

I'd say go single specimen, they are so personable, see?Here's my unpeeled Red Monkey, though I see more Synspillum than anything.
