Well I got my Christmas present, 125 Gallon tank, i had a little problem, i have a 4 inch Texas and a 2.5 inch Red Devil. THey were suppose to go into the 125 along with a list of fish i wanted. Well Texas a little more agrressive than i thought, so, I took out the Red Devil and put him in a 30 Gallon grow-out till he is big enough, and I went to my lfs and bought a pretty agressive FLowerhorn. At first it was all lip locking, but no serious damage. THen things cooled down a little bit. But my Texas is still the agresser towards the bigger flowerhorn, and the Flowerhorn wins. So then i bought a Jag, about the size of the Texes, becauz 2 isnt a good number for aggressive fish. WEll it did little no lip locking, they pretty much leave him alone and The texas still wants to take down the flowerhorn. Actually the jag and the fh get along pretty well. Any suggestions more fish? anything? Jag is a little torn up from the move.
here are a few pics:

Just wondering why didn't you do the obvious - remove THE aggressor and put it in the other tank...??? Instead, you took out the subordinate fish, and substituted it with another subordinate fish to get beaten up??
Take the Texas out, and enjoy a community of the other cichlids in the big tank, and give the Texas what he's asking for - A tank to himself.
