Hey guys.

Please could you give me some advice here.

I currently have a square 125Gal tank.

My current stock is as follows.
1 x Male Kadango (Fully Grown)
1 x Male Milomo (Fully grown)
1 x Aeci - (I think its a male - Fully Grown)
1 x Ahli Male (Fully Grown)
1 x Yellow lab (Suspected male - Almost fully grown)
1 x Juvi Male Borleyi
1 x Juvi male Baencshi
2 x Pleco (about 6")
1 x Synodontis (about 8")
1 x Fire Eel about 15"

I had two Venetus of around 6" that both looked like males but actually turned out to be females and that is where my problems started. My Milomo decided that the had a taste for Venestus female and started becoming incredibly aggressive and recently killed a 2 year old fully grown Borleyi who was a STUNNER!

After he killed my Borleyi he started tuning his attention to my other fish and mainly my Kadango. Yesterday I went through the huge task of removing all of my decor and most of my water to catch the two venustus females in an effort to get things back in balance. As soon as they were out of the tank the Milomo became a well mannered fish all over again but now the tables have turned and my once battered Kadango has become the newest terror in town.

He is laying into all of my fish as well as my Monster of a Milomo but seems to have a particular hatred of my Aeci.

I have tried clearing all of the decor in the front of the tank to try and get him to claim a small part at the back and leave the open front area for my other fish but he seems to want the whole tank to himself. Normally they chase for a second and give up but this guy will pick out a single fish and chase it non stop for minutes on end and wipes them out pretty damn fast doing that.

Do I need more rocks?

Do I need to up the stock levels?

The problem that I am having right now is the biggest fish I can buy at the moment are around 2.5" and they dont fare very well against a raging 8" Kadango. I bought a 2.5" Taiwan Reef last week and the Milomo killed him in about 5 hours.

I was running out of options and was about to lose my Kadango so I went an bought a juvi Taiwan reef and a Juvi Polystigma. I then added lots more rock work in the front of the tank and a huge plastic plant in the middle of the tank to try and break the line of sight.

It seems to have worked, there was almost zero aggression last night.

I had a good look at the Acei and as hard as these buggers can be to sex im now pretty sure its female. I would be a real pity to replace her now as she is fully grown and it would be impossible to find one the same size but if the issues continue I will have to make a plan.

The yellow lab I cannot sex but based in its behavior im pretty sure its a male.

Try rearranging all of your decor, by removing any existing caves and territories you'll force them to claim new spots. There might be a little increase in aggression at first, but it should soon settle down. Otherwise you may have problems with the new additions being bullied for trespassing into claimed territory.
