I have 4 IT growouts around 2" each now. 1 of the 4 is overly aggressive towards the other 3. They never fight back or fight each other but the 1 aggressive one fights everyone and everything all the time. Is this normal for ITs?

How long u had em? Tigers do in general compete and fightto establish hierachy. If there is no damage done, it should settle down in a few months.

By then u should have a dominant IT establish itself as alpha.

Well I think this one is establishing himself well. The other 3 don't fight back they all just haul tail to the top corners of the tank or near the heater or filters and the aggressor usually ends up settling down on the bottom of the tank and waits for them to come down and chases them off. There doesn't seem to be any damage taken I was just worried how well ITs can handle stress I guess. If they can handle the aggression I wont worry about it unless damage is being done.

If your really worried, u could add 2 more to spread aggression. At that size there quite cheap.

Yes but hard to find in my area. I waited for 4 months for these guys with like 4 of my LFS on high alert trying to get them in. I also wont buy fish over the internet.

It doesn't really worry me because of cost either. I just don't want a fish to die over something I could have fixed. But I just wanted to know if this aggression was normal and if IT's are hardy enough to be able to handle alittle stress while they work out their problems or if they should be seperated or what.
