Agression

I am starting to think that there might be some aggression in my top 40 gallon aquarium. I have 1 common pleco, 1 rhino pleco (if I remember correctly) and 3 electric blue haps. I went in there to check on them tonight and the rhino pleco was swimming around the tank fast and all of the haps were really dark blue. Usually only one or two are really that blue. When I went in there all 3 were blue. I didn't see what exactly happened, but the fish look ok. What should I do?

Sounds like the plecos might be fighting and disturbing the haps,I would remove one of the plecos

Yes, but they aren't good pleco tanks.

Well if u don't have a place to put the pleco how about moving the haps ,u can try to put less nervous fish in the pleco tank if that helps.

I plan on moving the haps into a larger tank once I find one. I have been looking for a 125 http://www.I Will Not Spam on MFK.us/threads/125-gallon-aquarium.161/

How big are the haps?

That common pleco can grow to over two feet long. It will eventually need a larger tank

They are no more than 2 or 3 inches long.

I know. One of the plecos stayed kind of small because I had him in a unheated tank with goldfish, but he is growing now that I moved him to a warmer tank.
