my male bristle nose pleco has been attacking my Green terror and bichir , I was wondering if anyone owns or has an agressive pleco and ways I can prevent it from fighting?

All plecos are territorial to a degree... mainly the males. Do you have many hides? Is it new in the tank? If its occasionally I wouldn't worry to much, but just watch for eating of the slimecoats of your other fish... plecos and bichirs are notorious, and also while your cichlid is sleeping at night. Not saying it will happen, just something to be aware of.

I choose a BN because I heard they mainly like vegetables and wouldn't be tempted to taste other tankmates, I had him in a 20 gal which hes back in now but when I tried to put him in my 55 he lunged at my fish for about 2 hours , there are many rocks and driftwood for him to hide under.

It's not uncommon for them to try to assert their dominance in a tank when first introduced, then it usually calms down. Some male BN can be pretty intolerant of other (usually) bottom dwellers, but usually they make pretty good community fish. Probably needed some time to settle. I wouldn't say there was a pleco that was an acception to the rule of "slimecoat sucking"... it often seems to stem from not having either enough or the correct food.
