why is my silver arowana so agressive and jumpy, everytime i walk by or just walk in the room it starts to go crazy

Do you have any decor?! something where it can hide and take cover, it also helps turning off the lights.
no theres nothing in the fish tank except gravel...i sometimes cover the whole fish tank with a towel when i have company over so it wont be exposed to people
ummm....... well some aros are okay with bare minimum yours is probably terrified and not yet settled in. You should get him some nice lush plants in their with a couple tankmates that may help. (and why cover up your fish when company is over?!)
