Right now I have 4 uarus and they will not leave each other alone. They are mean all of the time. I was wondering if I make some more room to hide it could help. What do you guys think.

I think more driftwood would help, maybe 3 or so pieces so they can setup territories in the tank and so they don't have to see each other all the time.

I think that you are going to have to lose at least two Uaru. They will need more space than you have available. The fighting will continue otherwise.

Have the Uaru paired off? They can be rough on each other if they are courting or paired. I have three female severums in my 210 gallon and they are all trying to murder one another over one male. My guess is that's the cause of your Uaru aggression. Otherwise they tend to be good in groups of six or more, very similar to discus and angels.

My suggestion is to watch for the pair (the two that don't attack each other) and remove the others. Are they aggressive toward your discus or geos?

Also, tank size would help. It does look pretty heavily stocked.

I would suggest that it is too many fish for the tank, and there are no "territories" for the fish to separate to . . . they are probably fighting because they are stressed-out . . .

Know anyone in the san jose area that wants them. I know it seems like a lot of fish but I added them in the hope to ease the aggression(they are community fish like discus and angels.
