hahahaha. i finally got my female to lay eggs. i won't know if they're fertile until i see if the actually hatch. who knows. but i thought it was awesome and thought i'd share. (if you guys didn't notice, it's a betta). :headbang2

A betta! Whew! for a minute there I thought you were talking about the female in your avatar. Hmmm.

BTW....keep the cover on the tank and try to keep the atmospheric temp. at a constant...very important for rearing them. Like Tainted said, PITA to raise them. Watch the male too, he doesn't need the female any more as he raises the young...so he might not take to kindly to her being in the same tank... :grinno:
 
Yeah...definately remove the female (if you haven't already). Leave the male to rear the fry until they become free swimmers and then you can remove the male.
