I don't know much about fry stuff but heres a rough idea lol 
Well betterwatch filter cause they might get sucked up have you got anything over the filter like sponge or a stocking i think thats what people do i think.
Have you got a fry net i think thats what there called tryed google? i gess you could try to put divider just in a small area so they can't get eaten by daddy xD.

if you want to keep the fry you need to isolate them, either with a divider or a separate tank, and yes you do need to be careful with the filter you have them with, sponge filters and clear free 2's work well for fry, thats what i use

If so get water from the tank there transfer some of that water since it is clyled then if you got one add a spong filter and go from there if that made sense xD.
