On Mother EARTH
I gotta be honest, kinda sad for me. AIM played a huge roll in my high school and collage years. Buddy lists that were broken down by Friends, Family, Co-workers etc. The iconic sound of the door opening when someone signed on, door closing when someone signed off. Having the ability to set an "away" message etc. This was used to chat with other forum members off the forum.

RIP :(

I heard it was found slumped over in a Dunkin Donuts bathroom with a needle in its arm.

I actually met my gf online through MySpace we exchanged phone number and aim sn. We contact each other mostly through there since I was only a teenager I would set an alert when she signed on a cash register sound would ring it made me excited lol. Memories.
