Scary title :)

You have all probably read my prior posts. I have moved my Aimara to a temporary 40g hospital tank for treatment over the past week and he will be there for another week for monitoring. I am worried about his 180g tank continuing to contain whatever diseases he has and was thinking of bleaching it. Having said that, how long do you think I can keep him in the 40g?

I'm moving in 2.5 months and will need to keep him in the 40g at my parents for a week. Instead of moving him back to the 180g now plus that move I was thinking of just keeping him in the 40g.

I would then put a 2nd ac110 on the 40g (would this be too much flow?), slow down feeding him and do water changes twice a week.

Thoughts?

I don't think you have to much flow. Slow down the feedings as you said. Worst case scenario he doesn't get a growth spurt until in a larger set up imo. And he obviously won't be as happy for a little while but I think he'll be alright as long as it's temporary.

Is this a 40 breeder or 40 "long" given the nature of wolf fish i would think footprint would be more important than gallons
