aimara = brazilian black wolf?

no they are not, aimara = giant wolffish and apparently aimara and macrophthalmus = the same fish.
I am no wolf expert, but from my understanding it's a colour morph from the Xingu river.
And being that they are cheaper to buy than aimaras and lacerdaes right? I am using it's a malabaricus variant, just a colour morph of a mal, but still the same species.
Although they obviously look very different.
2 people that could tell you more than me are JimTan and ashdavid. They are both wolf experts. Jim has a xingu black wolf, and maybe ashdavid does too.
From what I've heard they are aggressive too, more so than a regular mal.
Or I might be completely wrong and it may be a seperate species entirely to malabaricus, but just doesn't have a latin name yet.
