all depends on the varient and the indivudual fish genetics. where is this supposed fishes origin of collection?

there is no supposed fish...there are a number ofthem available online.
It's a theoretical question. Basically I want to know how fast they grow. I'm kicking around the idea of picking one up, but I don't hav any tanks wider than 2' right now. How long until an upgrade is required.

They are generally slow growing fish and are like some other Pred's i.e. ATF's, there eventual size is heavely affected by being kept in captivity. Don't get me wrong though they are still big fish.

Mine is a VZ/guyana aim at 17" and its eating like a pig.2 jumbo prawns daily....so,i hope it grows HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!!!!! FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST!!!

with a 10" fish, I have maybe 2 years before an upgrade is needed
so they are not rhom slow
I should prob just resist the urge. Ihave cometo a point in the hobby where a 180 is just too small. I couldnt fit my 300 into my new house...
