it’s a little pit - i think it’s bilateral-

he’s been in with a pleco in a 150g since 7” - currently 12”

2 - fx6’s
2 - hobs

eats 4-6 massivore pellets per day

water change 1x per week - ive started to check nitrates upon seeing this development on his head - i had 20ppm-40ppm before weekly water change - now there are 30 severums in there with him though for 2 weeks -

took out the pleco as he was all up on his slime coat -

i’ve added salt - will hole in the head meds repair or stop the progression or unnecessary?

keep water clean -

Thanks all!

It depends on what’s causing the hith. I’d try feeding some metronidazole and using methylene blue on those areas. Consider reducing ur ph. Keep a low ph and see if it helps.

ph is 6.6-6.8

dose the tank with methylene blue or topical ?

i can soak a pellet in metro / he’s been a little picky lately with eating -

the pits are ok both sides - 1.5mm / .5mm

Keep the ph there. Methylene blue applied topically on the fish If able.
