Aimara with rays?

Would like to know if anyone has tried this?

Would anyone be willing to try it?

Let's say the Aimara is 7". Aimapa varient.

I've talked to another member here keeping a small Aimara in a community setting with other fish and it seems to work fine. I also see guys across seas cohabbing this with other predatory fish combos you wouldn't think possible.

Could it be possible that given the right enviroment they may not kill everyone and everything? People were skeptical of rays and Armatus and rays and ATF at first and now it's not that uncommon. So are Aimara just like the other apex Characins or are they just not fit for interaction with anything and best kept in isolation?

Would appreciate opinions....... Preferably sooner then later ​

I have had mixed experiences with aimara. I have one smaller at 11" that I had for three months with a group of large silver dollars. one day decided to take mouth shaped chunks our of them killing them.

My second at 20" is in a 300 with a large ATF and four large brycon. Occasionally I get tooth marks where he has grabbed them. Usually when the light goes out. This might be down to the speed of the fish in question. Difficult to grab. I probably wouldn't try it. I would be confident that my smaller wolf would have a go and might get stung.

I've tried this with my old Black Wolf/Curupira. It was ok for a few hours but then there was a lot of gill flaring from the wolf whenever the stingray would come close. I hoped for the best but the next day after getting home from work my ray had bite marks so i moved the wolf out.

I guess its a try at your own risk kinda thing, but in my opinion i don't believe it would work considering the high aggression the Aimara is known for.

i did not have any experience for mixing the aimara with the ray. But my 18 inches Aimara can live with the pecu and wided-bar SD inthe 60*30*30 inches. My aimara attack pecu sometime but no any serious injury.
