Aimara wolf fish activity levels

I just got my Aimara wolf fish on Thursday and he is just hiding and not eating. Why?

Because he’s a wolf fish.

They aren’t known for their activity, being ambush predators and all.
At a small size, it’s going to be skittish and hide a lot.
What have you tried feeding?

The store I got him from had him on feeders so I’ve been doing that

What would recommend for him to be more active and aggressive

Give time as stated above as it grows and gets comfortable you should see agression.

Providing plenty of cover and dim lights helps them feel more comfortable.
I’d try to wean it off live foods over time, but for now anything that gets it to eat will work.

He has cover but the light I have sucks it only has 1 setting and is too small so one side is brighter that the other
