Has anyone ever experienced there wolf fish throwing up food ?
somewhat digested and sometimes still whole?

Have seen this occur a few times now, once when I was cleaning the tank I just assumed I may have e stressed him out, and another when I’m just watching through video camera at night.

should I be concerned?
Water parameters are 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 20 nitrate.

Mine did that for a while at higher pH but I noticed that at pH 6.5, once a week 30% wc, variation in diet, shrimp, fish meat, mussels......bite size and feeding once every 1.5 to 2 days, when they are hungry.
I have a strong current, so it swims and once I notice the bulge in the belly goes down, I will feed.
It's in a comm tank.

Mine occasionally eat too much and refugee/spit some out on the rare occasion.

mine spits out pellets occasionally- think they are kinda big, so i break them....

it does not spit out tilapia - his fav

i’d go with the feed less - mine seems to be very food motivated....

GL!

pics too if you got em? what is he living with?

Turn the water temperature up helps them digest a little quicker 78*
