Air Conditioner and Temp control of tank!

so with it finally heating up here in NY, I installed my ac lastnight and fired it up. Upon waking up this morning my tank had dropped almost 7 degress .

Anybody have any tricks, how do i regulate without having to turn up heater everynight, maybe a blanket over tank to keep the cold air from blowing directly on the tank?? Thanks.

Lol my tank was up to 84 degrees with my heater unplugged and lights off =[

How big is your heater and what tank size? It sounds like you might just need a few more watts to keep your tank warm. You could also keep the tank lower in temperature posisbly. What is the stock and what is the current temperature.

get heaters for 3 watts per gallon of tank. And set the heater for your desired temp and be done with it.
