Hi there
I am in the final stages of setting up my sixteen 900L tanks. I have always used power filters to filter my tanks, but when you sum up the electrical consumption of 16 big power heads it sums up to some painful numbers.
I have seen filtration systems using foam filters and I was interested in using such a system. Why I would like to ask is whether such a system would be suitable for my aquaria. I would go for 3 large hydrosponges from jhemco in each tank. What is the maintenance on such sponges?
Thank you
