air pumps???

in my 246 gallon tank i want a nice air flow rate i am going with an fx5 for filtration and its a plywood tank 36" deep what should i use for an air pump or airstones or waht have you???/

The Whisper deep-water pump (http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/3532/Tetra-Whisper-Deep-Water-Air-Pump) is supposed to be good, and comes with a warranty. I don't think the airstone variety matters too much. I like the disc-style ones.

I think the only time you need to worry about the stone, is when your using it for CO2 and need super fine bubbles.

I use this air curtain http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/3520/AZOO-Air-Curtains in the 48" length and it gives a great effect.

I use this pump which I bought locally in Korea which has a double outlet.
