Air stone in sump

Well i was just wondering if it would be benificial to run an air stone in a sump under the pot scrubers ? Would this help the bb grow ?

nope it wont you should put it inside of the tank it would look cool and it would help your bb

yeah it should help because bb is aerobic and needs air to live its a good idea and i think ill try it out

If your media is submerged, adding an air stone beneath it would be a big plus.
But, if your BB is handling your bio load now it is not needed.
Guess what I am saying is, won`t hurt anything.
