Air uplifts to take water to sump

Thank you for your replies. I wanted to vacuum the bottom of the tank with the air uplifts. I decided that is inviting a flood by pumping water both ways. Instead, I am trying to build a custom overflow that sucks water from the top and from the bottom of the tank.

Ill post a pic later today on a HOB overflow ive got on one tank that sucks water from the bottom and skimms the surfacewater.

Just use your uplifts to pull from the bottom and deposit near the top by overflow. Or use a powerhead to lift debris off bottom.
