Airplane Model Collectors??

I'm one of those weirdos that collects everything, I used to collect small military aircraft models from KB TOYS, that was years ago. Recently I picked up this collecting again, but this time with commercial airlines. I just bought a 1/400 model of a Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-400 "Asia's World City".......but I have no idea if it's worth the money or not.

I also have no clue what 1/400 means.

Anyone know?
