Ajusting to new food

hi i just got my fish some super small 1mm nls sinking pellets and when i feed it to them alot of it hit the sand. Do u think they will ajust to it and get most of it before it hits bottom or eat it off the bottom? It falls n gets blown around alot because i got 2 filters and a koralia pump in my tank so the top is current. This is the first time they have ate pellets. Ima feed them the flake ive beed feeding them once aday and the nls pellets once aday

Try not to put too much pellets at once.

Try not to put too much pellets at once.

Or turn off or unplug the powerheads during feeding.

yeah, turn off the powerheads, and if they still don't eat the pellets, you can starve them for a few days and try again
