Just an update on my 72 bowfront-
I have added more live rock, switched lighting and added some new corals-

Here is an old pic that is horrible showing the old setup-

Here is a dark shot showing just L.E.D's on-

Here is a shot with only 2x96 watt pc's on (that need replaced very soon)

Here is a blurry shot showing what the tank looks like with pc's on and 2x 150 watt halides-

Here is a better quality shot of same shot as above(although alittle dark-Shows tank much better)

It looks good.
I never knew you kept SW.

Thanks man-

I was big time into Piranha's that got old-
Moved on to cichlids but when I had the huge loss and all of my prize fish died-I decided to basically get out of them as well-

I decided to do a reef tank-
I now mainly concentrate on it.

I have only three prize fish left that I keep in freshwater-
My perfect specimen of a pacu
And my huge tire track eel
And my piranya (piranha)

I love the layout. My only gripe with the tank is how distracting the overflow is. If I were you, I'd paint the back of the tank black versus that blue, if only for the sake of keeping the attention on the foreground.

I'm glad you kept those three. I always love seeing that pacu and that monster of a fire eel.
I thought about doing a SW tank, like maybe a little nano tank, but I just got a 120g, so I don't really have much money to use.

I eventually plan on covering the overflow with live rock and corals-Hopefully it will look nice enough one wont even notice the overflow anymore..

One can do a low budget salt tank as well-
