The names Logan, and I hope I'm not the only member from Alabama on here. I'm 20, and currently in nursing school with only a year left thankfully because I don't honestly think I can spend anymore time working for free without snapping :screwy:. I was raising 4 red ear slider turtles and around 20 cobalt crayfish, but eventually they grew up and it felt only right to let them go have some fun in my pond, I hope they're reproducing haha. The only real experience with fish that I have is what I used to feed my turtles, and I was going to quit the tank hobby until this christmas my dad, for some reason, bought me a 55g so I figured why not I've always like the bigger fish. Other than the 55g I have a 20g and two 10g. I use one 10g for a quarantine and the other as a grow out, and I'm not really sure what to do with the 20g, probably just step 2 of getting bigger.

currently in the 55g are 2 red tail tin foils, 5 red minnows, and there were some other smaller fish, but they've fallen prey to one of the crayfish. I also some sort of cichlid, but I'll be needing some help identifying it because all the fish store could tell me was "medium cichlid".

I have a 5'' senegal in the grow out tank cause it was in the 55, but he got knocked around pretty bad, but I'm starting to beef him up, I found him at wal mart and he was the only one left alive, and I didnt think he would live but they're tougher than they look. And last time I counted there were around 20 ghost shrimp in there too.

So thats it for now, I'll post pics of everything tomorrow.:nilly:

There are a few member's on the board from the heart of Dixie, my self included, I no longer live there any more though :( but as soon as my wife finishes nursing school (way to go man I know its tough) we hope to move back down there.
