Alaska fishing

salmon still running? o.O : D i went there last summer , pretty fun ^^

oo grayling, i heard those put up one heck of a fight for its size

Yes, it where the Russian River meets the Kenia River & thats where all the Sockeye were when we were there. Lots of Salmon = lots of fishermen & bears.

We wanted to get some Sockeye so we added to the croud two of the days we were there.

The Grayling would only take flies so they faught good on the fly rod.

It was a mile hike up hill to get to Grayling Lake but it was not too steep. I was worried about the hundreds of bear tracks though on a small trail. We talked loud the whole way up & down so we did not see any.

I was watching "I shouln't be alive" about a hunter attacked by Grizzly in Alaska and I dont blame you for missing it what incredible wild life with endless untouched lands.

To cold for me as hate the cold but summers there must be amazing .
