albacore fishing

Going deep sea fishing next week, overnight charter. I think we are going albacore fishing, any tips and advice? I been on a couple charter trips so i know most of the basics.

If it's a charter, most of everything will be done for you which is always nice. Ive never fished for albacore so I dont have any tips, sorry. Good luck and bring a camera

The only thing about tuna fishing I hate....


Ive only caught black fin tuna but this is how it goes...

Trolling along and reel starts screaming. I yank the rod out of the holder and set the hook. Line peels out as a grin comes across my face as Im thinking it is a smoker king or hoo. Well the fight is tough but short and a damn football sized fish comes up! Damn tough fighting little buggers!
