Here's the result of Mom coming to visit... I usually buy a dozen or so of these every month as a treat for my Bichirs, but mom had to "rescue" this guy. Little African clawed frog. Currently he's in a 40litre tank with my remaining 3 neons, and some plant cuttings for a future scape. apparently these guys get quite big so will need at least a 80litre when full grown. he's got great personality, fears nothing, and yesterday ate bloodworm from my finger for the first time. one of those pets i never would have considered getting for myself, but now that i have it, i'm pretty happy
