albino and panda cory cat's whats the coldest they can handle?

ive got some native tanks at my home, and they stay whatever the temp's in my basement are, currently i have longear sunfish in the tanks, they eat well but sometimes the food makes it to the bottom and id love to have something that clears the bottom of food.

in the dead of winter, it may get down to 55-60* in my basement, and right now its about 68* in there, but can possibly get upto 72* durring the middle of summer.


im wondering if the cory's could handle these temps, if they cant, what others could possibly handle it? i dont think pictus could, or raphael's

id love to get some madtom catfish, but i havent caught any yet.

one of the LFS is going out of business and has alot of the catfish's listed above really cheap.

im just trying to figure out what i can do.

and hope the 5-6" longear sunfish wouldnt mess with them.

not a rapheal as you say they get body fungus pretty bad a even the mid 60's, go with bullhead catfish, if you have room. they don't get huge, and don't mind the cold temperatures.
 
I don't imagine any kind of goldfish would make it very long with those fish, but they make good bottom cleaners for setups like that... then again, they contribute to the waste accumulation as well.
I've heard of people keeping common plecos in very cool tanks as well, but I don't know about 55 degrees, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Like Mystus Redtail said... bullheads are your best bet.

for stone cats go to your local creeks i say creeks cuz i can never find em in rivers. but the best place to find em is in clear rocky creeks just flip over rocks and look for em
