Albino Betta.....

Has anyone kept albino Betta Splendens and then had it change colour? I have a gorgeous male and hes started to grow red on the end of his tail!!!

its OK he's just doing a little inspection.
hmm I'd say there could be a minor injury there and it could be healing, but i dont know.

haha.....It looks more like colouration than a wound, maybe he tried to tackle on of my sevs?!!?

betta fins go white when they are healing. The thing about albino bettas is that they are backwards when it comes together, sure you can find a white bodied one but you'll soner find a redish one because the skin is so white it's almost clear and you can see the blood underneath. I wouldn't get too scared he might have been rubbing on the glass or what not and may have bruised his fins. Thats about all i can say without a pic. If you can get one post one and I'll take a look.
