I have a 5 inch albino bichir and a 6 inch elephantnose that have been in a 120 together for a month. This morning I saw the elephant nose swimming around happily, and when I come back 30 minutes later he’s in the jaws of the bichir. His trunk had no injuries, but his sides were ripped to shreds and the bichir was still gripping on to him. To prevent this from happening again, should I seperate the albino bichir? The other tankmates are: 5” black ghost knife, 11” fire eel, 6” delhezi bichir, two 3” clown loaches, and four 4” denison barbs.

I would suggest keeping your eye on the BGK it maybe next. Personally had a BGK lose its tail bitten of by a poly.

Like tlindsey tlindsey mentioned. Would move the bgk and potentially the Denison barbs. Loaches should be ok.

In a few days my 300 gallon will be ready and I will be having the fire eel and the two bichirs there. I plan on getting a few more delhezis, but will I be able to add an ornate bichir? If so, will it hurt the fire eel?

If their size is comparable shouldn't be a problem the smaller Senegal will not be compatible for life with a large mature Ornate.
