i got two of them around 6 inches or 8

my question

one birchir is getting healthy and really fat

the other one is thin and still the same fatness as the day i have purchased it.

also the scales are getting dark

they eat a lot, both of them

why is this?

You didn't mention how long you've had them. You could simply have a male and female. Females will round out from egg production. Here's a pic to aid in determining their sexes:

sorry

i got them for almost a month now

ill try to double check their anal tails.

if i have a female and male

the female is the fatter one.

so why does the color of the male changing ? is this normal

tnx for the info

not to derail. but how do you know if their short bodies?

The "off-color" can be disease, a tyrosinase-negative albino morph, a leucistic morph, a xanthic morph, or something else. Hard to tell without pics. I've consulted my spirit advisor and he's also asking for pics.

A sought-after short body senegalus is an obvious mutation. If the deformity isn't readily obvious, chaulk it up to size diversity among individual specimens.
