Hey guys, I have never breed any pleco before. However, just recently I picked up a pair of Albino bristle nose and noticed just today that I have eggs. They are in a tank by themselves. I am wondering what I should do with the fry once they hatch. Since no other fish are in the tank can I leave them in or should I remove them? Any help would be very much so appreciated.

Thanks

Ancistrus usually spawn in a cave. The male will guard and fan the eggs until they hatch. Once they hatch they can be left in the tank with the adults. Fry can be fed canned green beans, zucchini, or flake food.

Great info--thanks Joe! I also acquired 3 bristlenose(1albino) today when I bought a 135 and am wondering about breeding, should it happen. Thanks guys.

Great to know!!! Canned green beans lol, I have plenty of that. I did not know that it makes a good pleco food.
