I'm having a hard time tracking down a male ABN pleco, so I may just go with a normal one (although I'd love an albino). If they breed, will the fry be normal color or blotchy? I'm assuming that albinisim is a recessive trait?

It depends on knowing who the normal one's parents are. Take an albino trait = aa. If you have a normal one it could be Aa or AA. If you combine aaxAa youd get Aa Aa aa aa. If you combined aaxAA you'd get Aa Aa Aa Aa.
So the first one would be 50% normal %50% albino.
Second 100% normal.

Just bought 13 albino bushynose plecos for 15 bucks on craigslist... check your craigslist... never know
