albino bristlenose pleco

Are these Plecos fairly common? I've seen them around, but not in the LFS and a local guy is selling some babies .5"es You guys think I should pick up a few or are they pretty common and I should wait for something more oddball?

The reason being it they will max out my little 30, so that means no more fish for me! alteast until I clear some out.

They are really nice.It depends on the strain he has ,some are an awesome gold color and there are a few longfin varieties

i know that they are quite popular as i bought 4 for 21 dollars.

They aren't particularly uncommon. There is a golden variety (not albino, just leucistic) and there are albinos, and as mentioned the long fins. Its up to you, if you like the look of it then go for it, but if you are going on the merit of it being uncommon, i'd pass and wait (or order) on something else. Remember price is usually a factor in these things...

They are really cool little guys, I have 1 and also 2 Albino longfins.
So did you end up getting any??
