hi everyone. i was just thinking about frogs and i when thought about how cool it would be to own an albino bullfrog, i remembered that i have seen one before. the creek in my backyard use to be packed with bull frogs and leopard frogs, but the amount of run-off from the fields around my house caused the frogs to disappear. anyways, when the frogs were around, me and my little brother use to catch frogs with nets, and we saw a frog that we called "the golden frog". we tried to catch it, but it was too fast and we only saw it twice. i was wondering if any of you had ever seen an albino frog before, and how common they are in your area. i think that if someone caught one and bred it, they could make some crazy $. sorry if i started to blabber, but i'm kind of tired.

Actually, Pacman frogs are commonly found albino in the pet trade and they don't ask for a much higher price then the regular ones.

Its all about the demand of the animal. Their are Albino Bull frogs out their, you just need to ask around in your local pet shop and I bet they can get one for you. Probably wouldnt be expensie ither.

try a reptile show, i went to one and found a vendor with about a dozen 2" long ones in a tank, you can also find them online pretty easy but bullfrogs will need a huge tank or pond when it's full grown.

heres a hella old pic of my male. its now about 6" from nose to end and beefy, not sure how big with its legs stretched back...im keeping my male now in a 60 gallon tank, im planning on moving it to a 4x4 tub in a few months.
i also have 6 smaller ones too, im planning on breeding these next year. they were only like $20 as tadpoles.

Outdoor?

Albinos don't really do well in the wild...
