I have had my male Albino Bushy Nose Plecostomus for almost a year now and he was perfectly healthy and eating great. I recently took in a female one as well that a buddy of mine wanted to get rid of. Both of these albinos appearing healthy and eating good died suddenly overnight. The female was the first to go then the male went a few days later. They didn't show any obvious signs of fighting or disease on them. The current tank list is:
-(2) Festivum Cichlids (2")[Male & Female]
-(1) Bolivian Ram Cichlid (2")
-(1) Clown Loach (2.5")
-(1) Pimelodella Four Line Catfish (5")
-(1) Marbled Sailfin Plecostomus (8")
-(1) Royal Plecostomus (6")

I have no idea why these plecos died so if any of you have any opinions please let me know. Maybe other fish attacked or something? Not sure. I'm sorry for not providing pictures, but I didn't think to take pics of the dead fish. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I had the same thing happen with an L114 pleco. Two years of no problems, one day he's out swimming around in stead of hiding, two days later dead with no apparent cause. I have friends who've experienced similar things with the family.

That's why there's the running superstition/joke that says you must never spell out the name when writing about them, or else they'll suddenly die for no reason. This is why you'll see many people spell it "ple*o" instead.
