So i just got this albino bushynose pleco. Its about an inch long but too small to put in my other tank. I have a 5g tank that I would like to use to grow him out in. My question is will it be detrimental to not have driftwood in there. Even if I give him vegetables? I do have driftwood in my main tanks.but they are too big to put in the 5g tank.

No Bristlenose do NOT have to have driftwood. Although it would help them greatly, they are not panaques. I might suggest checking your LFS to see if they have a really small piece but Bristlenose do best with algae to eat.

I have literally over a hundred albino and regular bristlenose. Mine subsist juzt fine on sinking algae wafers, driftwood, uneaten food, and tank algae. They are eating me out of house and home. I need to do b my homework on veggies, wafers arent cheap
