Hey guys,

The last couple of days I've noticed my albino chlarius has these small scratch like lines that show up on his head that are black. But not all were lines and some were very small black specks. I know its not an injury because he's hurt himself before and it looks more wound like, but this I've never seen. I recently added a large African drift wood in the tank that had been out of the water for a year, is it possible these are just skid marks. My other fish are black or brown so i can't tell if this happens to them.

I did a bit of research and some sources online say it's some kind of sickness caused by stress and some say it happens when albinos hit growth spurts. I can't imagine what would cause the cat stress nothing has changed besides the added decor that it now swims around and hides behind instead of not swimming. So i'm stumped and worried. Even the water parameters haven't changed, and even if they did when my cycle crashed and i had 6ph and almost 6ppm ammonia nothing changed on my cat.

What do you guys think?

PS. I couldn't managed a pic due the my phones camera not capturing the stripe well for some reason :s

I managed to shove the camera right to my glass n take a couple of pics. Hope it helps

It looks very cloudy, and the fish has white spots on its head. Do you change the water regularly? Filtration good?

O the cloudiness is my camera lol, and he's had those white spots since i got him.

I do a 40% weekly water change and have an Ac 110, AC70, and an ATI #4 sponge filter
