hey guys, i was just browsing through the fugupuffs rare fish thread, and i was super curious has anyone ever seen an albino cichla before? i know its a mutation of the color genome but has anyone ever seen it in person??

also, has anyone tried cross-breeding any ridculous cichla? ie kelebri x azul? just curious. thanks
 
There is a photo floating around of a wild caught Platinum Kelberi. Looks to be albino or leucistic. Unbeleivable fish. In the hobby would probably be worth tens of thousands.
 
oh all the years i been keeping cichla.. i haver seen one in anyones tanks
 
yeah, i saw that oddball theard that j started...thanks fugupuff for that albino cichla. but yeah, if someone on this forum ever gets a hold on a super rare cichla show it off PLEASE!! ahh..
